Your doctor will prescribe ATOXIA for you only after you have used other medicines, i.e paracetamol for your condition and it has not been suitable for you. Your doctor will want to discuss your treatment with ATOXIA from time to time.It is important that you use the lowest dose that controls your pain and you should not take ATOXIA for longer than necessary. This is because the risk of heart attacks and strokes might increase after prolonged treatment, especially with high doses.

acute and chronic treatment of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) :Osteoarthritis is a joint disease. It results from the gradual breakdown of the cartilage that covers the joints and cushions the ends of bones. Symptoms of osteoarthritis include pain, tenderness, stiffness of one or more joints, and physical disability. The hips and knees are the most commonly affected joints, but other joints such as those of the hands and spine may also be affected. Osteoarthritis is more common in women than in men. Many factors can lead to the development of osteoarthritis including obesity and joint injury (eg. from sport).
acute and chronic treatment of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis: (RA) Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease that causes pain, stiffness, swelling and loss of function in the joints and inflammation in other body organs.
management of ankylosing spondylitis:( AS) Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory disease of the spine and large joints.

ATOXIA (Etoricoxib) used to manage the symptoms of joint pain and swelling that accompany osteoarthritis (OA), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), gouty arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis (AS).

Betapyn is used to relieve fever and pains like headache, period pain, back pain, muscle pain, arthritis, toothache, dental procedures, neuralgia, sore throat, and cold and flu symptoms.

Flexilor P 8mg/325mg Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to treat pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Zeficam (chlortenoxicam) is a new nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam class with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties. Zeficam differs from other oxicam compounds in its potent inhibition of prostaglandin biosynthesis, a property that explains the particularly pronounced efficacy of the drug.

Mild to moderate pain associated with tension, such as in tension headaches, low back pain, pain associated with stiffness in muscles and joints, period pain, pre-menstrual pain and dental pain.Dosage Adults and Children over 12 years: 1 or 2 tablets, repeated 4-hourly if necessary. Do not exceed 8 tablets per day.

Usual dosage:

Adult and children over 50 kg: 1 to 2 tablets, to be renewed if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets per day. In patients with severe pain in the adult and particularly in osteoarthritis, the maximum dose can be increased to 1 g of paracetamol (2 tablets), 4 times a day, only on medical prescription.
Children from 41 to 50 kg (approximately 13 to 15 years): 1 tablet, to be renewed if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets per day.
Child from 27 to 40 kg (approximately 8 to 13 years): 1 tablet, to be renewed if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 tablets per day.
