Elica-M cream(mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w,Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w) is a combination of medium potency corticosteroid mometasone furoate and
miconazole nitrate, Elica-M is indicated for infections of skin by Candida spp. or dermatophytes
in which inflammatory and pruritic manifestations are prominent.

Description

Composition: Each gram of Elica-M cream contains:
Mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w + Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w, in suitable cream base.

* Dosage and Administration:
Apply a thin film of Elica-M cream to the affected skin areas once or twice daily.
* Precautions:
– Systemic absorption of topical corticosteroid will be increased if extensive technique is used. Suitable
precautions should be taken under these conditions or when long-term use is anticipated, particularly
in infants and children.
Use of topical corticosteroids in children should be limited to the least amount compatible woth an
effective therapeutic regimen.
– Since safe use of mometasone furoate 0.1% in pregnant women has not been established, topical
corticosteroids should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies potential risk
to the fetus.
– It is not known whether topical administration of corticosteroids could result in sufficient systemic
absorption to produce detectable quantities in the breast milk, thus a decision should be made
to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug taking into account the importance of the drug to
the mother.
– If irritation or sensitization develops with use of Elica-M cream, treatment should be discontinued.
– Excessive or prolonged use of topical corticosteroid can suppress HPA axis resulting in secondary
adrenal insufficiency.
* Contraindications: * Store between 15 – 25 degrees C. * Caution: Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
Elica-M is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to mometasone furoate, to miconazole
nitrate or to any of the ingredients in this preparation.

Fastum Gel belongs to a group of medicines called NonSteroidal Anti- Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). These reduce inflammation and relieve pain. Fastum Gel is used to relieve the pain of soft tissue injuries, and acute strains and sprains. Fastum Gel shouldonly be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.The Benzox AC 2.5% Gel contains Benzoyl Peroxide. Benzoyl Peroxide kills the bacteria on the skin that cause acne and unplugs blocked pores (blackheads and whiteheads). Benzoyl Peroxide acne cream is a gel-based formula for treating mild to moderate acne. The Acrylates Copolymer beads absorb excess oil leading to a clear skin and reduces skin irritation.Directions of use: 1) Wash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water and pat skin dry. 2) Apply a thin film of Benzox AC to the affected areas once daily, leaving on the skin for 2 hours then washing it off with water then pat skin dry. 3) Apply a light moisturiser which won’t clog pores. Note: You can also apply Benzox AC in the evening and leave it on all night.Use under medical supervision.

Signs of an allergic reaction include wheezing (asthma), runny nose (rhinitis) or an itchy rash (hives)  If you are allergic to fenofibrate (a medicine used to lower blood cholesterol)  If you intend to use it on skin conditions such as eczema or acne, an open or infected wound, abscess, ulcer or tumour  If the area to be treated is near the eyes  If you are pregnant (see pregnancy and breast-feeding section). Stop using Fastum Gel immediately if you experience any skin reaction including reactions after co-application with octocrylene containing products (octocrylene is an ingredient used in several cosmetic and hygiene products such as shampoo, after-shave, shower and bath gels, skin creams, lipsticks, anti-ageing creams, make-up removers and hair sprays in order to delay product breakdown due to sunlight).Protect your skin from sunlight even on a bright but cloudy day. Do not use sunbeds. This applies during treatment and for two weeks after stopping. Warnings and precautions Talk to your doctor before using Fastum Gel:  If you have heart, liver or kidney problems.  The use of large amounts of Fastum Gel may give rise to side effects such as hypersensitivity and asthma.  Exposure to the sun (even hazy) or to UV from a sunbed or solarium of areas treated with Fastum Gel can induce potentially serious skin reactions (photosensitisation). Therefore it is necessary to: o Protect treated areas by wearing clothing during treatment and for two weeks following its discontinuation to avoid any risk of photosensitisation. o Wash your hands thoroughly after each application of Fastum Gel.  Treatment should be discontinued immediately upon development of any skin reaction such as rash after application of Fastum Gel.  Avoid direct sunlight and solarium (sunbeds) during and for 2 weeks after treatment.  Do not exceed the recommended length of treatment.  Do not use near mucous membranes (eg lips, vagina).  If you have asthma as well as a persistent runny nose, sinusitis or nasal polyps, you may have a higher risk of being allergic to aspirin or similar medicines than other people. Children and adolescents The safety and efficacy of Fastum Gel in children has not been established. Other medicines and Fastum GelSome other side effects of Aarciflox have been listed ahead. These side effects of Aarciflox are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. If, however, they worsen or do not go away, please speak with your physician.Furthermore, you should know that effect of Aarciflox is Moderate for pregnant women and Moderate for women who are breastfeeding. Further, the section on Aarciflox related warnings talks about Aarciflox's effects on the liver, heart and kidney.Aarciflox is contraindicated in people with pre-existing medical conditions like Arrhythmia, Heart Disease, Myasthenia Gravis (MG) as it can result in adverse effects. Some other conditions that can be affected by Aarciflox are listed in the contraindications section below.Additionally, Aarciflox may also adversely react with other medicines. What form(s) does this medication come in?

Each mL contains methylprednisolone acetate 2.5 mg, neomycin sulfate 2.5 mg, aluminum chlorhydroxide complex 100 mg, and colloidal sulfur 50 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: butylparaben, cetyl palmitate, lexemul ar, methylcellulose, methylparaben, perfume oil, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, polysorbate 85, and propylene glycol.

How should I use this medication?

Carefully clean the affected skin to minimize the possibility of causing additional infection. Apply the lotion sparingly to the affected areas once or twice daily. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes. Some people may need to reduce the initial frequency of application because of the drying effects of the medication. They may find that using the medication once every other day will sufficiently control their symptoms.Many things can affect the dose of medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are using the medication without consulting your doctor.It is important to use this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.Do not dispose of medications in wastewater (e.g. down the sink or in the toilet) or in household garbage. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications that are no longer needed or have expired.

Who should NOT take this medication?

Neomycin - methylprednisolone topical should not be used by anyone who:
  • is allergic to neomycin, to methylprednisolone, or to any of the ingredients of the medication
  • has chickenpox
  • has herpes simplex
  • has other skin infections that do not respond to neomycin
  • has tuberculosis of the skin
  • has vaccinia
