Calci D-denk used for the treatment of calcium and vitamin d deficiency. In addition, it used for treatment of osteoporosis (skeletal disorder with decreased bone mass) in patients with simultaneous calcium and vitamin D deficiency. Its used to correct a simultaneous calcium and vitamin d deficiency in the elderly.

It may be used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany).

Dosage

One tablet daily. Please dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of drinking water (200 ml)

Each tablet contains 2500 mg calcium carbonate equivalent to 1000 mg calcium and 22 microgram cholecalciferol equivalents to 880UI vitamin D3

SIDE EFFECTS OF MUMFER SYRUP 150ML:GI irritation, epigastric pain, stomach cramping, constipation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dark stools, heart burn, discoloured urine, teeth staining.DRUG INTERACTIONS OF MUMFER SYRUP:Concurrent use with psychotropic drugs may worsen constipation. Increased systemic side effects with concomitant ACE inhibitors and parenteral iron admin.CONTRAINDICATIONS OF MUMFER SYRUP: Hypersensitivity or intolerance to iron and overloading of iron in the body. Anemia not caused by iron deficiency. Disturbances in iron utilization, thalassemia. Patients receiving repeated blood transfusion. Parenteral: Iron overload, Ostler-Rendu-Weber syndrome, chronic polyarthritis, bronchial asthma, inflammation or infection of kidney or liver, uncontrolled hyperparathyroidism, decompensated liver cirrhosis. Pregnancy (1st trimester).MECHANISM OF ACTION OF MUMFER SYRUP: Iron polymaltose is a water soluble, macro-molecular complex of iron (III) hydroxide and isomaltose. Composition and Active Ingredients

Neurorubine Forte tablet is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

Thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1), 200mg.
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), 50mg
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). 100µg.

Excipients:

Color E127 (erythrosine) and other excipients.

Neurorubine forte is recommended as an adjuvant in the treatment of neuritic pain: acute or chronic neuritis and polyneuritis, neuralgia as well as toxic damages of the nerve tissue like alcoholism, diabetic polyneuropathy, drug intoxication.Directions for use:

Adult: take 1-2 film coated tablets daily.
So far there is no experience with the treatment in children. The preparation should therefore not be used in children.

Side effects:

Some cases of angioneurotic oedema have been described (primarily in sensitive.
patients). Allergic reactions are rare.
Endocrine disorders.
The release of prolactin is inhibited.
Nervous system disorders.
Individual cases of anxiety have been described (primarily in sensitive patients).
Pyridoxine stimulates the decarboxylation of levodopa and can reduce its therapeutic effect on Parkinson’s disease, unless a decarboxylase inhibitor is given at the same time.
With high doses over a long period (> 500 mg per day), rare cases of reversible.
Peripheral sensory neuropathy has been observed.
Cardiac disorders.
Individual cases of tachycardia and collapse have been described (primarily in sensitive patients).
Gastrointestinal disorders.
Nausea and haemorrhagia in the gastrointestinal tract have been described (primarily in sensitive patients).
Hepatobiliary disorders.
High doses can lead to an increase in SGOT in the serum.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders.
Outbreaks of sweating, feeling of weakness, globus symptoms.
