Neomycin is an antibiotic that helps kill the bacteria that may cause or aggravate acne. Methylprednisolone is an anti-inflammatory that helps to reduce the redness and swelling associated with acne. This medication is used to control acne in adolescents and young adults and is sometimes used to treat seborrheic dermatitis and acne rosacea.Your doctor may have suggested this medication for conditions other than those listed in these drug information articles. As well, some forms of this medication may not be used for all of the conditions discussed here. If you have not discussed this with your doctor or are not sure why you are being given this medication, speak to your doctor. It can be harmful for people to use this medication if their doctor has not prescribed it.	Unixil(Amoxicillin) is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is a penicillin-type antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.Amoxicillin is also used with other medications to treat stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the bacteria H. pylori and to prevent the ulcers from returning.UtI	Fastum Gel contains a medicine called ketoprofen. Fastum Gel belongs to a group of medicines called NonSteroidal Anti- Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). These reduce inflammation and relieve pain. Fastum Gel is used to relieve the pain of soft tissue injuries, and acute strains and sprains. Fastum Gel shouldonly be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.	Nitroren tablets (Nitrofurantoin) is an antibacterial that acts on most gram-positive and gram-negative urinary tract pathogens. It is effective against the enterococci in vitro as well as various other Gram-positive species including staphylococci, streptococci, and coryne bacteria. Most strains of Escherichia coli are particularly sensitive to nitrofurantoin.	Zentel 400 mg (Albendazole), It is used to treat infections caused by worms (round worm, tapeworm, pinworm). Zentel 400 mg belongs to class of medications called anti-helminthic. It works by keeping the worm from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that the worm loses energy and dies. Albendazole is an anthelmintic or anti-worm medication.Albendazole is an anthelmintic or anti-worm medication. It is used to prevent newly hatched insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying in your body. It is prescribed primarily for the treatment of some infections caused by worms such as pork tapeworm and dog tapeworm. Albendazole is sold under various trade names, a couple of which are Albenza and Zentel (made by GSK). This medication may also be prescribed for conditions not mentioned here.
Content	Antifungal topical cream-30g	What form(s) does this medication come in? Each mL contains methylprednisolone acetate 2.5 mg, neomycin sulfate 2.5 mg, aluminum chlorhydroxide complex 100 mg, and colloidal sulfur 50 mg. Nonmedicinal ingredients: butylparaben, cetyl palmitate, lexemul ar, methylcellulose, methylparaben, perfume oil, polyethylene glycol, polysorbate 80, polysorbate 85, and propylene glycol. How should I use this medication? Carefully clean the affected skin to minimize the possibility of causing additional infection. Apply the lotion sparingly to the affected areas once or twice daily. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes. Some people may need to reduce the initial frequency of application because of the drying effects of the medication. They may find that using the medication once every other day will sufficiently control their symptoms.Many things can affect the dose of medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are using the medication without consulting your doctor.It is important to use this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one. Neomycin - methylprednisolone topical should not be used by anyone who: is allergic to neomycin, to methylprednisolone, or to any of the ingredients of the medication has chickenpox has herpes simplex has other skin infections that do not respond to neomycin has tuberculosis of the skin has vaccinia		Do not use Fastum Gel:  If you are allergic to ketoprofen or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in Section 6)  If you are allergic to UV blockers (sun creams) or perfumes  If you are allergic to aspirin, other NSAIDs (eg ibuprofen) or any medicines for pain relief or inflammation including tiaprofenic acid. Signs of an allergic reaction include wheezing (asthma), runny nose (rhinitis) or an itchy rash (hives)  If you are allergic to fenofibrate (a medicine used to lower blood cholesterol)  If you intend to use it on skin conditions such as eczema or acne, an open or infected wound, abscess, ulcer or tumour  If the area to be treated is near the eyes  If you are pregnant (see pregnancy and breast-feeding section). Stop using Fastum Gel immediately if you experience any skin reaction including reactions after co-application with octocrylene containing products (octocrylene is an ingredient used in several cosmetic and hygiene products such as shampoo, after-shave, shower and bath gels, skin creams, lipsticks, anti-ageing creams, make-up removers and hair sprays in order to delay product breakdown due to sunlight).Protect your skin from sunlight even on a bright but cloudy day. Do not use sunbeds. This applies during treatment and for two weeks after stopping. Warnings and precautions Talk to your doctor before using Fastum Gel:  If you have heart, liver or kidney problems.  The use of large amounts of Fastum Gel may give rise to side effects such as hypersensitivity and asthma.  Exposure to the sun (even hazy) or to UV from a sunbed or solarium of areas treated with Fastum Gel can induce potentially serious skin reactions (photosensitisation). Therefore it is necessary to: o Protect treated areas by wearing clothing during treatment and for two weeks following its discontinuation to avoid any risk of photosensitisation. o Wash your hands thoroughly after each application of Fastum Gel.  Treatment should be discontinued immediately upon development of any skin reaction such as rash after application of Fastum Gel.  Avoid direct sunlight and solarium (sunbeds) during and for 2 weeks after treatment.  Do not exceed the recommended length of treatment.  Do not use near mucous membranes (eg lips, vagina).  If you have asthma as well as a persistent runny nose, sinusitis or nasal polyps, you may have a higher risk of being allergic to aspirin or similar medicines than other people. Children and adolescents The safety and efficacy of Fastum Gel in children has not been established. Other medicines and Fastum Gel	Indication: Nitrofurantoin is used in the treatment of uncomplicated lower urinary-tract infections, including for prophylaxis or long term suppressive therapy in recurrent infection. Pharmacological class Antibacterial Pharmacological properties Bactericidal Mechanism of Action The mode of action appears to depend on the formation of reactive intermediates by reduction Nitrofurantoin is reduced by bacterial flavoproteins to reactive intermediates which inactivate or alter bacterial ribosomal proteins and other macromolecules. Side effects Gastro-intestinal tract effects are dose-related and generally include; nausea, vomiting and anorexia, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Neurological adverse effects include headache, drowsiness, vertigo, dizziness, nystagmus and intracranial hypertension. Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes, urticaria, pruritus, fever and angioedema may occur. Acute pulmonary sensitivity reactions characterized by sudden onset of fever, chills, eosinophilia cough, chest pain, dyspnoea, pulmonary infiltration or consolidation and pleural effusion. Contraindication It is also contra-indicated in patients known to be hypersensitive to nitrofurans and in those with a deficiency of glucose -6-phosphate dehydrogenase and in infants less than three months old. Care is required in patients with pre-existing pulmonary, hepatic, neurological or allergic disorders and those with condition (such as anaemia, diabetes mellitus, electrolyte imbalance, debility or vitamin B deficiency) which may predispose to peripheral neuropathy Interactions: Nitrofurantoin and the quinolone antibacterials are antagonistic in vitroand should not be used together. The antibacterial activity of nitrofurantoin may be decreased in the presence of carbonic anhydrase inhibitors and other drugs that alkalinize the urine. Probenecid or sulfinpyrazone should not be given with nitrofurantoin as they may reduce its excretion. Magnesium trisilicate may reduce the absorption of nitrofurantoin.	Uses of Zentel 400 mg Albendazole is used to treat infections caused by worms (round worm, tapeworm, pinworm). How it works Zentel Tablet is an antiparasitic medication. It works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level. This causes the worms to die and treats your infection. How are Zentel 400 mg taken? Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zentel Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. What are the side effects of Zentel 400 mg? Vomiting Dizziness Increased liver enzymes Nausea Loss of appetite What precautions need to take before using Zentel 400 mg? You should not take Albendazole anthelmintic or anti-worm medication (Albenza, Zentel) if you have a known allergy to it, or to similar drugs such as mebendazole. Prior to using this medication, you must inform your doctor if you are allergic to any drugs or if you have liver disease or have ever had abnormal liver function tests. Taking Albendazole with food will lower any chance of stomach upset. You must strictly complete the entire course of this medication even if your symptoms have subsided before the completion of the medication course. Albendazole is a pregnancy category C drug. It may harm an unborn baby if taken while being pregnant. You must not take this medication if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Inform in advance about your pregnancy or any plans of a pregnancy in the near future to your doctor. Employ a good and effective birth control method when you are taking this medication. You must also not get pregnant for at least one month after stopping this medication. It is not known whether Albendazole can pass into breast milk and harm a nursing baby. Ask your doctor first before using this medication if you are breast feeding.
