It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also provides relief from runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.	Hipen 100 ml Dry Syrup is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the lungs, throat, and urinary tract - the kidneys, bladder, ureters, or urethra. It is also used to treat a sexually transmitted infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women.	Septrin is used for the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections, including bronchitis and infections of the ear, sinus, kidney, bladder, stomach, bowel, skin and wounds. Trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole (the active ingredients in SEPTRIN) belong to a group of medicines called "anti-infectives".	Bro-Zedex Syrup is used in the treatment of cough. Do not take this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. It is likely to cause allergic skin reactions in some people. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. Hipen 100 ml Dry Syrup should only be used to treat or prevent infections that are caused by bacteria. Taking an antibiotic when it is not required can make it less effective for future infections. You can take Hipen 100 ml Dry Syrup with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this cefixime syrup around the same time every day.	Septrin is also the first choice for treating people who do develop Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia(PCP). The dose used for treating PCP is higher than that used for preventing PCP. In some cases, if the PCP is more severe, you may be given Septrin intravenously. The recommended treatment lasts 21 days. It may be possible to switch to tablet form of Septrin if you respond well to the treatment. It may take five to seven days before you start to feel better. You may also be given a steroid, prednisone, to relieve your symptoms.After the PCP has been successfully treated, you will need to take PCP prophylaxis to reduce the risk of it recurring.
