Calci D-denk used for the treatment of calcium and vitamin d deficiency. In addition, it used for treatment of osteoporosis (skeletal disorder with decreased bone mass) in patients with simultaneous calcium and vitamin D deficiency. Its used to correct a simultaneous calcium and vitamin d deficiency in the elderly.

It may be used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany).

Dosage

One tablet daily. Please dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of drinking water (200 ml)

Pharmacodynamics

Pregabalin+Mecobalamin can reduce the release of neurotransmitters and promotes regeneration of neuronal myelin sheath. Pregabalin possess analgesic property and reduce neuropathy-related pain symptoms. Mecobalamin is a cofactor of methionine synthase for the transfer of methyl groups to generate methionine from homocysteine. Elevated level of homocysteine is a predominant risk factor of CAD. Methionine can be converted into s-adenosylmethionine, which involve in methylation reactions related to reduction of depressive disorders.Pregabalin selectively binds to voltage-dependent calcium channel and reduce the release of substance P, glutamate, calcitonin-related peptide and norepinephrine. Contrary to other anxiolytics, Pregabalin neither binds to GABA receptors nor increase/influence GABA currents or metabolism.Pharmacokinetics Pregabalin: After oral administration, Pregabalin is rapidly absorbed in GIT. The Cmax can be achieved within one hour after administration. The oral bioavailability is about 90%. The rate of absorption is influenced by food intake. Pregabalin is not bound to plasma proteins. The Vss of Pregabalin is 0.56L/kg. About 98% of the administered Pregabalin is excreted via the urine as unchanged drug. Methylcobalamin: After oral administration, the peak plasma concentration can be achieved after three hours. The vitamin is eliminated in the urine as unchanged drug.

Precautions
